TOURNAMENT OF A LIFETIME

 

The Tournament of a Lifetime (TOL) was instituted in 2001 to honor our 50-Year members and Past Presidents.

 

Our 50-Year Honoree from Sunset Country Club , is Peg Amendola. She became a member of STLWDGA in 1969.

TOURNAMENT INFORMATION 
 RULES AND REGULATIONS GOVERNING PLAY

 
 1. A one-day, stroke-play tournament, played in flights to determine a Low-Net and a Low-Gross Champion.


 2. Refer to STLWDGA General Rules & Regulations.

 
 3. Eligibility: Participants must have a USGA Handicap Index based on a minimum of twenty (20), 18-hole scores and must be a member of STLWDGA. 
 
4. Play will be in foursomes, paired by flight as determined by the Committee.  Flights may vary in size due to handicap considerations. 
 
5. Prizes will be awarded to the Overall Low-Net and Overall Low-Gross winners, and to the Low-Gross and Low-Net winners in each flight.  A tie for Overall Low-Net or LowGross winner shall be determined by a sudden-death playoff as recommended by the USGA in “How to Conduct a Competition”.  In case of ties with-in flights, duplicate prizes will be awarded.  In no case shall a player receive more than one prize.  The winner of the Overall LowGross trophy may not be the winner of the Overall LowNet trophy.

 
 
TROPHIES 


 The GOULD TROPHY will be awarded to the player having Overall Low-Net in the Tournament of a Lifetime.  An individual trophy will also be presented to the Overall Low- Net winner.
